As well as these community activities, five growth groups meet in the afternoons and in winter there’s a monthly afternoon prayer meeting. See the Growth groups page for details of those.

Almond Tree Cafe

Almond Tree Cafe runs in the church on a Friday morning between 10am and 12noon. A warm welcome awaits you along with a variety of delicious homebaking.

Several groups run during Almond Tree café – Footwise (see below), Coffee and Cameras on the 3rd Friday of the month (10am to 11.30am) as an opportunity to learn about photography, or improve your skills in an informal setting. The group benefits from experienced photographers, but would also be suitable for beginners. Also Knit and Natter on the first Friday of the month where you can bring along your knitting or sewing project to join others being creative over coffee.

Footwise

Footwise is a basic podiatry service run by volunteers at PBC. Footwise happens once a month on a Friday morning (2nd Friday of the month). This is a very popular service and prior booking is essential. Please call our church office to find out more.

Holiday@Home

Holiday@Home is outings and activities during a week in the summer for mainly older folks in our community who might otherwise find it difficult to get out and spend time with others. There are bus trips and usually the Holiday@Home week finishes with a very popular (and delicious) Strawberry Tea.

Ochil Care Home Service

Ochil Care Home Service takes place every month, usually on the fourth Thursday afternoon. This is a simple church service for residents and families held in Ochil Care Home. We are always keen for our church family to join with us for these services.
