About us
We are a Baptist Church based in the beautiful city of Perth, Scotland. We believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again so that we might have a living relationship with God, and we meet as a community of believers to worship Him each week.
We have worship services on a Sunday at 10.30am and a number of growth groups that run throughout the week to support and encourage each other in our faith.
We’d love to have you with us! If you’d like to find out more, please get in touch.

Gordy MacKay
Community Pastor
My role involves helping us as a church be active in and engage with our local community.
To encourage this, I oversee an exciting variety of activities both within our church centre (such as the Almond Tree café) and in the wider community (such as school chaplaincy).

Eder Ferraz
Church Pastor
My role is to encourage, motivate and guide all our church members to live the life that God wants for them.
Along with the church leadership we discern the direction of travel for Perth Baptist church.

Charles Vieira
Youth Pastor
As a youth leader, I am committed to seeing every young person feel empowered, heard, and inspired to reach their full potential as Christians.
I lead and facilitate a range of youth activities in our church and local community including youth groups, worship evenings and camps.

Lynne Cranney
Pastoral Care Worker
In this volunteer role I am passionate about showing God’s love and compassion to my church family. I along with a few others spend time visiting and caring for those in the church who need a little help at the moment.

Gavin Davies-Coleman
Deacon and Growth Group Coordinator
It is exciting to see people growing in their faith and wanting to share the joy of a life in Christ with others. As growth group coordinator I would love to see all who come to Perth Baptist being part of a growth group to grow in their faith. For more information please see the Growth Groups page.
Colin Clark
Acting Church Secretary and Deacon
As acting church secretary I am responsible for some of the more formal parts of running the church. Along with the other deacons we care for the church and try to ensure we always have the interests of the members at heart.
