Growth groups

At the heart of Perth Baptist Church are its growth groups. As a church we are not merely people who happen to worship in the same building each week; we are also a people committed to each other’s well-being and the groups exist to facilitate this.

Being part of a group enables you to:

• Study the bible together to learn and understand more of God’s word;
• Pray for each other, our church and community and the wider world;
• Develop meaningful, open, sharing relationships with each other;
• Make time each week to join together to enjoy fellowship;
• Care and support each other.

Growth group is a great place to get to know one another. The groups are open to all and we don’t insist that people go to the nearest group to where they live. We invite everyone to try the groups and settle where they feel most comfortable.

Each group has its own leaders, its own style and its own traditions, so every group feels slightly different. All the groups study the same Bible passages or themes at the same time however.

Our growth groups are our commitment to one another in fellowship. We think that one of the most important things our fellowship can offer you is a welcome in one of our growth groups.
