We are an active church with services, groups and activities throughout the week.
Morning Worship: 10.30am
This family service is held in the main sanctuary at the church. It features singing, prayer and a message from our Pastor or a guest speaker. We celebrate communion every Sunday morning.
We have a programme for young people during this service, including:
- Crèche (children 0-3 years old)
- Sunday School (pre-school and primary school age children)
- Energize (secondary age young people)
Ochil Care Home Service: 2pm (monthly)
We run a short Sunday service once a month for residents at the local Ochil Care Home. This is greatly appreciated by those who are too frail to attend services at the Church Centre.
Messy Church: 3.15 – 5.45pm (monthly)
We run a relaxed, family friendly afternoon service on the last Sunday of most months. Designed for families with young children, but open to all, this service includes crafts, food and a short Bible message.
If you’d like to attend, please register your interest on Eventbrite
Evening Worship: 6.15pm
This service is held in the main sanctuary at the church.
Youth Fellowship: 8pm
Stepping Stones (3 – 5 years): 9.30 – 11.30am
Stepping Stones is aimed at pre-school children over the age of three and is run by trained staff. A full programme of activities is combined with play sessions. The programme is based on learning through fun-filled activities, and there is a Christian element to the content of each session. Parents stay with the children during the sessions which last about two hours. The number of children per session is limited to 28.
Nurture Group (S1 – S6): 4pm
The Nurture Group is the equivalent of a housegroup for young people. It is informal and is aimed at anyone in the Youth Fellowship and their friends who want to meet for a time of prayer and Bible study.
The informal format and setting are intended to encourage participation, and the meetings provide opportunities for young people to apply God’s Word to their lives and to discuss and pray about situations which arise in school and beyond.
Friendship Lunch (first Thursday each month): 12.30pm
This lunch is open to anyone and is a time when people are able to relax and get to know each other a bit better in a relaxed atmosphere. We usually have 30 – 40 people gathered in the church for soup and dessert.
There is normally a short epilogue / thought given by someone towards the end of our time together, and there is a nominal charge to cover costs.
Open Circle (third Thursday each month): 2 – 3.30pm
This group runs from September – June and is open to all who would like to join together for a time of friendship, faith and fun. The group has a varied programme of speakers and outings, with past guests including an Olympic swimming official, a member of the Fire and Rescue service and a teacher who went to Africa.
Our hope and aim is that through time to listen and be listened to, all will feel welcomed and valued. As we deepen relationships with one another, we want to encourage all in their faith walk too, and of course, there is always time for a cup of tea!
All Stars (P1 – P4): 6 – 7pm
This session is a lively hour of games, crafts and snacks themed around our weekly Bible story.
Key Club (P5 – P7): 6 – 7pm
The aim of Key Club is to teach children about the Bible through fun and games. The group is very enthusiastic and great fun is had by the organisers and the children.
The Almond Tree Cafe and Cafe Programme: 10am – 12 noon
We serve teas and coffees and have a wide selection of home baking available each week and run special events every so often.
If you’d like more information about any of our events, please pop in one Friday morning or contact the church office. Everyone is welcome and we hope to see you there!
Prayer meeting (second Saturday each month): 8 – 9am
As a church we have the opportunity to meet together in the prayer chapel. Everyone is welcome to join us as we pray for all kinds of different situations. As well as prayer meetings we also have prayer times in smaller groups via our house groups.
