Giving to PBC

All the costs of running the church, building, activities and paying the pastors are covered through donations and Gift Aid. Around 50% of Perth Baptist Church’s spending is on activities involving people who are not regular worshippers but come from the local community to join activities of the church, or spent to support other Christian ministries or positive work in the local area or around the world. For 2026, the annual budget for PBC is nearly £300,000.

Below you can find out how to financially support the work of the church. (If you would like to volunteer with the church, please see the 123 Go page)

Giving on a Sunday

Each Sunday at our worship gathering, you have the opportunity to place a donation in our black collection box situated in the foyer, near the entrance to the main church sanctuary. If you wish us to claim Gift Aid on this (see below), please put your gift in a named envelope or put your name inside with the gift.

Gift Aid

If you are a tax payer we can reclaim 25% more from your donation, to offset the tax you would pay. If you wish us to do this, please complete and return a Gift Aid declaration form so that we can reclaim the tax. Forms can be downloaded below or picked up from the foyer (near the barrier screen where the milk and sugar is on Sundays), then post it into the black donations box or give it to the church office.

Why give?

We believe that all resources and wealth come from the Lord and that we want to share what we have received from the Lord to serve and bless others. A common Christian principle is ‘tithing’ – to give at least 10% of our income to God in some way, whether to the work of the church or also to other individuals, charities, ministries or causes which God gives us a passion to bless and serve.

Thank you for considering giving to continue the ministry of Perth Baptist Church!
